First issued — 1 October 1948.
Size — 165 x 94 mm.
Colour — Green and brown.
Signature — Ghulam Mohammed.
Watermark — None.
Security thread — None.
Printer — Thomas De La Rue & Company.
Serial number — The prefix has the larger characters, later used by the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation. Although this variety uses the new font in the serial number prefix, the numerals continue to be printed in the De La Rue font, which was not adopted by the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation.
